Meet the owner, creator and artist behind Heirloom Refinery, Melanie Lackey. For years I have put so much passion into decorating a space to make it my own. From overhauling kitchen cabinets to dining tables and chairs, I have literally done it all. I have always had an “eye” for design and anything home decor. I particularly LOVE to take something old and worn and bring it back to life! To me, the before and after pictures are golden. This is where you get to see a piece truly emerge into a timeless, treasured piece. This is what brings me joy in my spare time and I certainly could not do it without the people in my circle. I am a mother, wife, daughter and most importantly a child of God. Originally born and raised in Dalton, GA but have now relocated to the beautiful Golden Isles where the sun is bright and the air is warm! My husband, Jason Lackey, is the muscle and main supporter of our business. We have one daughter, Ashton who is also very creative and artistic. I am committed to my craft, my family, my clients and my Lord and Savior. I would be honored to work with you on any project you have in mind.
